Roblox opens Player Support early access for in-game reports

Reports can include device context and screenshots. Access is rolling out to accepted creators and age-checked players aged 13 and older.

Roblox has opened early-access applications for Player Support, a reporting workflow connecting players with a game’s team through Roblox. The 17 September announcement limits reporting to age-checked players aged 13 and older. Creator access is granted gradually after signup, with confirmation through Creator Hub and Studio.

What is available

Accepted creators can add an in-game reporting entry point and review tickets under Audience, then Player Support, in their game’s Creator Hub page. Reports capture device and client metadata and support screenshots. The queue includes ticket status, bulk replies and CSV export.

Replies currently use a pre-approved response library; free-form messaging is unavailable. The optional Community Forums reporting route requires an existing Community with forums enabled.

Roblox lists custom responses, client logs, microprofiler dumps, spam detection and translation as planned additions. Under-13 reporting and AI deduplication or issue clustering appear on its 2027 roadmap. Treat those as future plans, rather than features available in this pilot. The official announcement includes the access form and setup instructions.

Give the pilot a clear owner

Our recommendation is to nominate someone to review incoming reports before applying. Once accepted, run a small reporting exercise around a known test issue: submit it, inspect the attached context, respond and check the player’s view of the ticket.

That exercise should reveal whether the workflow supplies enough information to reproduce a problem and whether the available responses explain the next step clearly. Record what still requires manual follow-up. Treat the pilot as an additional support route while you assess its coverage, particularly for games with younger audiences. A portal becomes useful when someone routinely turns reports into investigated issues and understandable replies.
