Roblox adds trackable Marketplace Links for avatar items
Roblox launches trackable Marketplace Links for avatar items and bundles. Use separate links to compare off-platform promotion and test mobile purchase paths.
Roblox launched Marketplace Links on October 30, 2026, giving avatar creators trackable links for off-platform promotion. According to the October 30, 2026 announcement, Creator Dashboard now lets creators link to avatar assets and bundles, including paid and free items. Links are limited to items published by you or your group; group items require permission to configure the group’s avatar items.
Measure promotion by link
Roblox says each link reports clicks, unique clickers, purchases, Robux spend and conversion rate, calculated as purchases divided by unique clickers. Reporting supports up to 90 days of daily data, filtered by link. Updates arrive once a day, so new links may need about a day before results appear.
Our recommendation is to use separate, labeled links for each promotional placement this week. Roblox allows up to 20 active links per item. Create them through Creations → Share Links → Marketplace Links by selecting an item or entering its asset ID or bundle ID. Alternatively, open the share-link option in an avatar item’s menu.
Test destinations before posting
According to Roblox, desktop links open the website item page. Mobile links open the item in the installed app, or guide users through installation before taking them to it. Off-sale and sold-out items retain their item-page destination with the current status; moderated or deleted items send visitors to Marketplace.
We’d start by testing desktop and mobile paths before replacing promotional URLs, then compare purchase conversion alongside clicks after reporting updates. Links do not expire. Deleting a link stops click and purchase tracking but leaves its item destination working. Our recommendation is to keep links active while evaluating a placement rather than treating deletion as a way to withdraw access.
