Roblox brings game items to Home and search
Listed passes and developer products can reach buyers before they join. Check purchase delivery and the new Shop report before expanding your catalog.
Roblox says listed passes and developer products can now appear on Home, in searches for specific games, and after a player buys Robux. The full listed catalog is also available in the game details store. Players can buy an item before joining its game, according to the September 22 announcement.
What makes an item eligible?
Developer products need Listed status in Creator Hub’s Monetization → Shop and a working ProcessReceipt implementation. Passes can also appear externally, but the receipt requirement applies to developer products. Standard earnings and existing in-game purchase flows are unchanged.
Roblox is rolling out a Shop report for listed products with receipt problems. Fix flagged items in Studio, publish, then mark them as fixed in the report. An absent banner does not prove the report has reached your account: the FAQ says it appears only when the feature is active and a problem is detected.
Test delivery before listing more products
Our recommendation is to start with one product whose benefit is easy to understand before entering the game. Confirm that its purchase is delivered when the buyer arrives, then review what happens if delivery fails or the same receipt is processed again.
The ProcessReceipt example covers product-specific grant logic, recorded purchases and unresolved deliveries. Use it to review your handling of missing players and repeat receipts; adapt it to how your game saves purchases.
This change gives your item another route to a buyer. Make its name and icon explain the benefit without an in-game tutorial, and ensure the player can find what they bought after joining. Eligibility alone does not promise more traffic or revenue. The useful first win is a purchase that works and makes sense outside your existing shop.
