Roblox opens game appeals to collaborators with edit permissions
Roblox now lets collaborators with edit permissions appeal game violations. Check team access and add moderation response duties to your workflow.
Roblox says its new Game Issues & Appeals page launches today, letting collaborators with edit permissions review game violations and submit appeals. Previously, that work depended on game or group owners. The November 2, 2026 announcement places the page in Creator Hub, under Creations, then the selected game’s Safety section and Issues & appeals.
What teams can handle
According to Roblox, eligible collaborators can inspect active violations, open their details, and appeal decisions they believe are wrong. Access does not guarantee a reversal. This permission concerns game moderation, not another person’s account suspension: Roblox says it can discuss account cases only with the account holder.
The announcement also gives games available in Roblox Select a 72-hour correction window for lower-severity violations before restrictions apply. After fixing the issue, creators must report back through the Appeals portal so Roblox can verify the correction and preserve the game’s status. That grace period is not described as applying to every game or to severe violations.
Check access this week
Our recommendation is to have a collaborator with edit permissions open the page this week and confirm they can review any active game violations. Assign responsibility for checking notices, coordinating fixes, and submitting appeals when warranted. For a Roblox Select game, include the correction window and portal follow-up in that workflow rather than treating a deployed fix as the final step.
Roblox also says it is rolling out different Marketplace consequences for initial description-wording mistakes versus repeated violations. Broader appeal eligibility is planned for the coming months, not available now. Teams should distinguish those changes from the game-appeal access announced today.
