Regional pricing: check your shop before judging the results

Displaying the right price is the first step toward a useful pricing experiment.

What the documentation says

Roblox’s Managed Pricing can adjust prices by a player’s economic location. Regional pricing is enabled by default for passes; developer products have a separate enablement process. A hard-coded shop label can disagree with the actual purchase prompt.

Roblox provides a Dynamic Price Check tool to help identify that mismatch. See the regional pricing documentation for setup and transfer controls.

Our take

A pricing change is also a measurement decision. A lower price might make an item more accessible, but more purchases do not automatically mean more earnings or profit.

One useful next step

Run Dynamic Price Check with test accounts. Check the displayed price against the purchase prompt, including after reopening the shop. If purchased items can be gifted or traded, review Roblox’s price-level controls before changing prices.

Then measure conversion and earned Robux by product and region where your analytics support it. Keep other shop changes separate so you can interpret the result. Public CCU and Ropeak’s modelled revenue are not substitutes for your transaction data; profit also depends on costs.
