Predictive streaming: test the moments players notice
A focused way to evaluate Roblox’s predictive streaming in your own game.
What the documentation says
Predictive streaming is an opt-in feature that prepares areas Roblox expects a player to need. This includes likely respawn areas and briefly retaining content after a CFrame move. Predictions can be skipped on resource-constrained devices.

Our take
If respawning or moving between areas interrupts play with missing scenery, this is worth testing on the devices your audience uses. A setting that helps your development machine may behave differently on a low-memory phone.
One useful next step
In a test copy, compare the same join, move, die and respawn route with the feature enabled and disabled. Keep the rest of the build unchanged. Include a low-memory device and constrained network; record visible pop-in, pauses, memory use and errors.
Release cautiously and retain a way to revert. Ropeak cannot measure client performance, and a later CCU change does not prove a performance improvement. Use device measurements and your own player analytics to judge the result.
